Our dedicated teachers have over 75 years of combined teaching experience. They are here to nurture and teach children during their first school experiences in a loving and safe learning environment.
Meet Our Teachers
Mrs. Lynagh, Director and Pre-K Teacher
Mrs. Lynagh has a degree in SPED and a Reading Endorsement from Kent State University. She has taught in the Windham Exempted Schools, Kent City Schools, Ravenna City Schools, KinderCare Learning Centers, TLC Learning Center, Young Explorers Child Care Center, and was a Stay at Home Mom for 5 years.
Mrs. Lynagh has been a teacher at Hope for 12 years and a director for 5 years. She loves teaching this age group!
Mrs. Peckinpaugh
Mrs. Peckinpaugh is in her 6th year of teaching at Hope and teaches Pre-K with Mrs. Lynagh. She has an Associates of Applied Science degree from the University of Cincinnati. She has worked at KinderCare Child Center, been a private nanny, and a Stay at Home Mom for 7 years.
Mrs. Peckinpaugh’s time at Hope has made her want to pursue continuing her education in early childhood and she is currently completing her degree.
Mrs. Peckinpaugh has a great love of sharing books and stories with our students!
Mrs. Garwood
Mrs. Garwood is the Lead Teacher in Hope’s 4’s class. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Akron and a Technology Endorsement from Notre Dame College. She has taught in the Kent and Beachwood schools and was a Stay at Home Mom for 7 years.
Mrs. Garwood is an energetic self starter with excellent hands-on organizational and creative skills. She loves teaching Hope’s 4’s class!
Mrs. Sabruno
Mrs. Sabruno is the lead teacher in the 3’s class this year. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercyhurst College with a certification in Early Childhood (P-3) and endorsement in Early Generalist (4-5). She has taught in Solon City Schools, Birchwood School of Hawken, The Goddard School, and was a Stay at Home Mom for 5 years.
Mrs. Sabruno has a wealth of early childhood knowledge that she continues to creatively use in the 3’s class.
Mrs. Sullivan
Mrs. Sullivan is an Assistant Teacher in the 3’s class. She has Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Youngstown State University with a certification in Early Childhood (P-3).
Mrs. Sullivan has been a substitute teacher in Streetsboro City School for a number of years. She has a genuine love of teaching our students!
Mrs. Gentille
Mrs. Gentille is our 4’s class Assistant Teacher. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University. She is very active in the community and brings many creative ideas to Hope’s classes. She has been a Stay at Home Mom and her own children graduated from Hope Christian Nursery School.
Mrs. Keating
Mrs. Keating is our Floating Teacher. She has a BAchelor of Arts degree from Baldwin Wallace and has taught at The Goddard School. She is very active in Aurora’s Parent Teacher Organization and works hard in every class at Hope. She has been a Stay at Home Mom and her children also attended Hope!
