Membership at Hope Lutheran Church

At Hope, we regard our fellow members as brothers and sisters in Christ. We promise to love and serve each other as Christ served us.

Membership in a Christian church means that you formally become a member of the Body of Christ on earth and part of the Communion of Saints. Here at Hope, membership means you are eligible to participate in all the activities of the church including the right to vote as a member of the congregation.

How to Become a Member of Hope if You are Lutheran

If you are a Lutheran and a member of another Lutheran church, you may have your membership transferred.

If you are Lutheran and do not have a church home, we can receive you by Affirmation of faith.

How to Become a Member of Hope if You are Not Lutheran

If you haven’t been baptized, you will be received into membership by Baptism.

If you are baptized and formerly a member of a Christian Church, you will be received by Affirmation of faith.
