Sunday Worship at Hope Lutheran Church
When we receive the gifts God offers to us in the Divine Service, we draw closer to God and our faith is nourished.
In the Divine Service, God comes to us with His gifts: in the forgiveness of our sins, in His word–proclaimed and detailed in the sermon, in the sacrament of the altar, in our fellowship with other believers, and in hearing our prayers. Join us as we gather in His name.
Worship Times
10:00 a.m. on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month are traditional Liturgical services including conventional hymns. Communion is celebrated during these Sunday worship services.
10:00 a.m. on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of the month are non-traditional services including more contemporary music. These services do not include the celebration of communion.
Sunday School is held on the 2nd and 4th Sundays during worship following the children’s sermon. More information about Sunday School can be found by clicking here.
What to Expect During Worship
All services include scripture readings, a passing of the peace between worshipers, a sermon from the Pastor, and prayer.
The order of service and song lyrics are displayed on screens toward the front of the sanctuary. Printed bulletins are available for those who may choose this preference.
Each Sunday worship service lasts approximately one hour.
Children from preschool-5th grade are invited to attend worship services with their families. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month children are dismissed to Sunday School in the fellowship hall following the children’s sermon during the service.
